Do:
As our Infant Toddler Coach, you'll partner with teachers, administrators, and community agencies to strengthen classroom quality and support children from birth to age three by: Coaching, mentoring, and supporting Early Head Start teachers and partner site educators through classroom observations and individualized coaching plans. Promoting developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practices that support every child's growth and learning. Ensuring compliance with Early Head Start Performance Standards, Rhode Island licensing regulations, and agency policies. Providing professional development and training on curriculum, CLASS, ITERS, active supervision, responsive caregiving, and child development. Collaborating with specialists in Disabilities, Mental Health, Health, Nutrition, Family Engagement, and Enrollment to provide comprehensive support for children and families. Monitoring curriculum implementation, child assessments, developmental screenings, and school readiness outcomes. Building strong partnerships with community-based Early Head Start sites through regular visits and ongoing collaboration. Supporting positive family engagement and culturally responsive practices that celebrate diversity and inclusion. Participating in program monitoring, federal reviews, self-assessments, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. 🎓
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. 3-5 years of experience working in infant-toddler classrooms or Early Head Start programs. Strong knowledge of infant-toddler development, curriculum implementation, active supervision, and social-emotional development. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background screenings.
Preferred:
