A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for the operation of the Cancer Center. He/She assesses the needs of the service and develops strategies and systems to meet those needs. He/She works with physicians, administrators, educators, consumers, and others to meet the goals of the Cancer Center. He/She creates a culture that is responsive to patients and their families.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in related health care related field. Masters preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years clinical and management experience in a health care related field. Experience in budget management and financial reporting. Possess leadership abilities and be knowledgeable and skillful in communicating and effecting change for multiple areas of responsibility. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or

Safety Requirements :

Works in a well-lighted and well-ventilated area. May be exposed to disagreeable odors, sights, bodily waste, or infectious diseases. Attends all safety related training programs.

Physical Demands:

May be required to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Meets all safety requirements associated with the Medical Center.
