This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who enjoys mentoring staff, building relationships with families, and stepping into classrooms when needed. ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Administration Oversee all daily operations of the school. Supervise, support, and develop staff members. Handle personnel matters and foster a positive workplace culture. Maintain relationships with church leadership and the Board of Directors. Coordinate facility maintenance and operational needs. Enrollment & Community Relations Manage enrollment, waitlists, and classroom rosters. Conduct tours and communicate with prospective families. Market the school and strengthen community relationships. Serve as the primary contact for school families. Financial Management Develop and oversee the annual operating budget. Monitor tuition accounts and financial processes. Coordinate payroll and communicate with bookkeeping staff. Staffing & Human Resources Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard staff. Build and maintain a strong teacher pipeline. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development. Compliance & Licensing Ensure compliance with all South Carolina DSS regulations. Maintain staff and student records. Coordinate inspections, fire drills, and safety procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred (Education, Early Childhood Education, Business, or related field). Ability to meet South Carolina DSS Director licensing requirements. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in childcare, education, nonprofit management, or related fields preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and financial management skills. Experience leading teams and building positive workplace culture. Knowledge of Christian education and faith-based organizations is highly desirable.
