• Job Overview:
• We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Director. As the Assistant Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall strategic direction and operational management of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual that is passionate about early childhood education in a faith-based early learning setting.
• Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including supervising administrative tasks and coordinating programs.
• Engage with stakeholders, including faculty, students, and external partners, to build strong relationships and support the organization's mission.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Qualifications:
• Have an active, personal relationship with Christ.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Child Development Associate's degree, or in a closely related field preferred.
• TN Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA) certificate preferred.
• 3•5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
• Proven experience in Budgeting, Strategic Planning, and Leadership roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example.
