Volunteer Behavioral Healthcare System is now seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Center Director to join our leadership team.
Pay range:
$50-$65K
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Master's Degree preferred or Bachelor's in the Behavioral Sciences with 5 + years' experience. Supervisory, counseling, and financial management experience required. Must be able to coordinate the actives of the Center and maintain effective working relationships with agency personnel; county officials; healthcare organizations; and the general public.
EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all Center operations as designated by Center Director, oversight of physical facilities. Designated acting Center Director in Director's absence. Promote community awareness of mental health services by coordinating and maintaining contact with local public officials and referral sources. Maintain Team Lead responsibilities in Chattanooga o Conduct Morning Huddle as Center Director back up. o Participate in Internal Audits. o Review Hospital Discharge Report and 8-week follow-up reports weekly o Distribute parking lot and daily assignments for goals. o Review outcome reports. o Monitors productivity for care manager's, communicating performance standards. o Prepare and lead CM staff meeting weekly. Participate with Center Director to achieve annual Corporate and location goals. Monitor activity and processes in the "Open Access" segment of our services. Maintain staffing and coaching with Care Manager's and participate with Center Director in meetings with facility staff. Monitors consumer needs and customer satisfaction. Monitor all crisis situations with clients and staff, assisting to keep clients and staff safe. Completes Conflict resolution with staff at facility in consultation with Center Director and Human Resources as required. Hiring and interviewing staff; Evaluations, corrective action and coaching plans with Center Director as required. Provides oversight for the office with Office Administrator. Monitoring and signing off on Incident and Adverse Action reports in a timely manner in Director's absence. Maintain compliance with Licensure; BHO; CARF, contract and compliance standards. Will be trained to assist with crisis assessments and provide support throughout the assessment process in accordance with organizations policies, procedures and clinical protocols Review Intake Report daily and provide feedback to staff and Director. Field all complaints both internal and external with Center Director as needed. Approve and sign purchase orders in Center Director's absence. Review financials monthly and receive GL reporting from Office Administrator.
