Preschool Childcare Director Job Summary The Preschool Childcare Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. This leadership role involves managing staff, implementing early childhood education programs, and maintaining high standards of care and teaching. The director serves as the primary leader in fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes children's development and supports staff excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise preschool staff, including teachers and support personnel, to ensure effective classroom management and quality instruction. Oversee the planning and implementation of early childhood education curricula that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Conduct regular teaching oversight to ensure educational standards are met and that teaching practices align with best practices in early childhood education. Manage daily operations of the preschool, including enrollment, scheduling, and compliance with licensing requirements. Foster a collaborative team environment through team leadership, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for staff. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to support children's progress and address any concerns. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a secure environment for children and staff at all times. Monitor classroom environments to promote inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities. Experience Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool teaching roles. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or managing school staff or teams. Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum development and implementation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and community partners. Prior experience in managing daily operations within an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Pay:

$41,297.58 - $47,576.24 per year
