A fast-growing, privately owned early childhood education organization in Middle Tennessee is seeking an experienced Center Director for their location in the West Nashville area. This is a 14-classroom center with a team of up to 40 staff and a strong operational foundation. The right candidate will step in as a leader — not a caretaker — and will have the autonomy to build the culture, drive enrollment, and grow a team that stays.

Flexible scheduling:

director chooses opening (done by 3-4 PM) or closing (start at 9 AM) Privately owned — direct access to leadership; decisions made without five layers of approval Regional Director support within 60 minutes of every school Budget for community events; full commercial kitchen; continental breakfast bar Nationally ranked organization (Top 50 US for-profit ECE); over 50% of schools NECPA accredited Two all-company conferences per year + annual leadership retreats

Requirements:

Active experience in early childhood education or licensed childcare leadership Demonstrated people management (10+ staff preferred) Familiarity with state licensing, compliance, and regulatory requirements Initiative, work ethic, and comfort operating with autonomy Strong communication skills — with families, staff, and leadership This company grows directors into Regional Directors.
