As needed, in accordance with company policy Position Summary Rise Up Kids is seeking an experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic Daycare Program Director to oversee the daily operations of its childcare program. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and supervisory skills, experience working in a childcare environment, and a commitment to providing children with a safe, nurturing, organized, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The Daycare Program Director will provide leadership to childcare staff, oversee program operations, maintain compliance with applicable childcare standards, and support positive relationships with children, families, and employees. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the childcare program.
Supervise, support, and provide direction to childcare staff.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Maintain a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
Ensure program operations comply with applicable Texas childcare licensing requirements and company policies.
Maintain required program records, documentation, and reports.
Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, staff, and community partners.
Assist with enrollment, parent concerns, and day-to-day program needs.
Monitor classrooms and program activities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Support staff in implementing age-appropriate activities and programming.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Address operational or staffing concerns as they arise.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant childcare experience required.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Must meet Texas childcare director qualification requirements.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively supervise employees and manage multiple responsibilities.
Must be dependable, professional, and able to work effectively with children, families, and staff.
Spanish preferred, but not required.
Must be available to work overtime as needed in accordance with company policy.
