Overview Discover Gymnastics is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Preschool Gymnastics Program Manager to manage our Preschool and Discovery Gymnastics programs. This is a hands-on management and coaching position responsible for supporting and developing coaches, maintaining high-quality and developmentally appropriate instruction, overseeing daily class operations, supporting athlete retention and enrollment growth, and creating an exceptional experience for young athletes and their families. The ideal candidate understands that preschool gymnastics is about more than teaching skills. We're looking for someone who can create a fun, safe, structured, and nurturing environment where young children build confidence, coordination, independence, and a lifelong love of movement. What You'll Do As the Preschool Program Manager, you will: Manage the daily operations of the Preschool and Discovery Gymnastics programs. Actively coach Preschool and Discovery Gymnastics classes while modeling high-quality, age-appropriate instruction. Manage, mentor, train, schedule, and develop Preschool coaching staff. Observe classes and provide coaches with ongoing feedback and performance support. Train staff on curriculum, class engagement, safety procedures, coaching techniques, and program expectations. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum that support progressive skill development. Oversee daily class flow, staffing, equipment setup, rotations, attendance procedures, and classroom pacing. Maintain appropriate coach-to-athlete ratios and staffing levels. Monitor athlete progress and recommend appropriate class placement based on development and readiness. Build positive relationships with athletes and families and professionally address parent questions or concerns. Monitor enrollment and support initiatives focused on athlete retention, class growth, and long-term participation. Support camps, showcases, seasonal events, and other Preschool program initiatives. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate gym environment. Collaborate with management and other Program Managers to maintain consistency and support the continued growth of the program.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of experience in gymnastics coaching, preschool gymnastics, early childhood education, or a related field. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate coaching techniques. Strong management, communication, organization, and customer-service skills. Ability to coach, mentor, motivate, and develop employees. Ability to build positive relationships with young children and their families. Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance. Current USA Gymnastics Professional Membership or ability to obtain before employment. Current SafeSport certification or ability to obtain before employment. Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred:

Previous management or supervisory experience. Previous preschool gymnastics experience. Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, or staff training. Experience supporting enrollment, athlete retention, or recreational program growth. What We're Looking For We're looking for a manager who can balance coaching, staff management, programming, and customer experience. The right candidate will be comfortable jumping into a class, developing a new coach, communicating with a parent, solving a scheduling or operational issue, and identifying opportunities to strengthen the program. This position requires someone who is positive, dependable, organized, collaborative, and confident managing both people and program operations while maintaining high standards for safety, professionalism, and customer service. Schedule This position may be structured as either a full-time or part-time management role based on the operational needs of Discover Gymnastics. Depending on the position structure, the Preschool Program Manager may manage morning programming, afternoon/evening programming, or both. When management responsibilities are shared, Preschool Program Managers are expected to communicate and collaborate closely to maintain consistent curriculum, coaching standards, safety expectations, and customer experience throughout the program. Availability may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, camps, clinics, meetings, special events, and seasonal programming. Extended hours may occasionally be required during peak enrollment periods or major events. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on coaching and management position. The Preschool Program Manager must be able to demonstrate and safely assist with preschool gymnastics skills, actively coach for extended periods, and respond quickly when spotting or assisting athletes. The position may also require lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving gymnastics equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Why Discover Gymnastics?
