A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Ensure that the center is safe for all children. Develop and facilitate a marketing and communications plan. Ensure that the center is at the maximum number of with children enrolled. Be willing to assist in the absence of a staff member. Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on center standards and procedures. Conduct monthly meeting with staff members. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the center. Manage and support teaching staffing and promote their development.
Requirements:
Comply with state minimum standards. Strong leadership skills. Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills Friendly and professional
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
License/Certificate:
Directors certificate (Required) CPR/First Aid (Required)
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
