Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

The Adoptions Staff matches shelter animals with suitable adopters while guiding people through the adoption process. You will be required to continually prioritize and delegate throughout the day. Common Responsibilities Ability to manage the team in a high paced environment Enjoy the unpredictability of owner surrenders and adoptions Have the ability and enjoy pivoting from one priority to the next throughout the day Train staff on our policies, procedures and computer software Process intake paperwork, adoption applications and contracts on the computer Monitor animal behavior and temperament Promote adoptable pets through events, email and Facebook Maintain adoption records and follow-up communication Help reduce pet returns by ensuring appropriate placements Key Skills Excellent managerial skills Excellent computer skills Great customer service skills Must be outgoing and smile Compassion for animals and people Conflict resolution and deescalating abilities Must be able to work well under pressure Must be able to problem-solve Knowledge of animal behavior and care Organizational and administrative skills Must be able to work EVERY Wednesday-Sunday from 10:30am-6:30pm. Must have own transportation and be willing to transport dogs and cats in your vehicle. Must be able to foster adult dogs in your home overnight, as needs arise.
