Sherman Full Job Description We are looking for a positive, reliable, and experienced Preschool Director to lead our school in Sherman. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about early childhood education, developing staff, and creating a positive environment for children, families, and teachers. The Preschool Director will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the school, including: Leading and supporting teachers and administrative staff Training, coaching, and developing staff Ensuring classrooms provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Supporting curriculum implementation and classroom management Building strong relationships with children, families, and staff Overseeing enrollment, tours, and family communication Managing staffing, scheduling, and daily operational needs Ensuring compliance with Texas childcare licensing requirements and school policies Conducting staff meetings, observations, and ongoing coaching Monitoring school performance, staffing, enrollment, and overall quality Addressing parent and staff concerns professionally and effectively Communicating expectations clearly and holding staff accountable Creating and maintaining a positive, collaborative school culture Qualifications Director Credential Strong knowledge of early childhood education and childcare operations Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Reliable, dependable, and consistent Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience training, coaching, and developing staff Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Passion for working with children and supporting teachers Familiarity with Texas childcare licensing requirements Montessori experience or certification is a plus Benefits Competitive pay Professional development opportunities Supportive leadership team Opportunities for growth If you are a positive and dependable leader who enjoys developing teachers, supporting families, and creating a high-quality preschool environment, we would love to hear from you!
