Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education center with enthusiasm and dedication. Duties Manage daily center operations, including staff scheduling, curriculum implementation, and compliance with licensing standards Lead and motivate a team of childcare providers, ensuring they deliver exceptional care aligned with best practices in childhood development Oversee classroom activities to promote age-appropriate learning, social-emotional growth, and developmental milestones for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns while fostering strong community relationships Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws, health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR certifications for staff Conduct regular staff training on child supervision, behavior management, classroom management techniques, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities Monitor compliance with state licensing requirements and maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments Qualifications Proven experience working with children across various age groups in daycare or preschool settings; prior daycare center experience is required Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred), along with familiarity with mandated reporting laws Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team leadership Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining a positive classroom environment Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored to young children's needs Experienced in maintaining a 4-star rating with Texas Rising Stars Join us in shaping the future by providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn through play and exploration. $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
