In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, foster a nurturing environment for young learners, and ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and uphold the highest standards of educational excellence and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional committed to shaping the future of early childhood development through innovative management and compassionate guidance. Duties Provide visionary leadership to staff and faculty, promoting a positive, collaborative work environment focused on childhood development and educational best practices Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices in childhood development Manage all administrative functions including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with state and local regulations governing childcare centers Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality, expand community engagement, and support organizational growth through effective fundraising efforts Supervise personnel management activities such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development facilitation in schools Oversee legal compliance related to school operations, special education law, and educational regulation standards to ensure a safe and lawful environment for children and staff Foster strong relationships with families through transparent communication, parent engagement initiatives, and community outreach efforts Provide transportations to and from local schools Skills You must meet Child Care Licensing's requirements to be a director. A CDA is very common to meet the requirement. A two or four year college degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education is also acceptable. All applicants should be available for full time work Monday thru Friday and be dedicated to improving children's lives by providing exceptionally high programs to our families. Daily duties include scheduling and supervising staff, communicating with parents, maintaining records for the Child Care and Adult Food Program, billing and collecting tuition fees, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. All applicants should also have at least 1 years experience in a licensed child care center as either Director or Assistant Director and a total of 3 years working in the center based child care field.
