Kids Soar is seeking a Program Director to lead our after-school and summer programs serving elementary-aged children. We are looking for an organized, dependable, and compassionate leader who is passionate about children, literacy, and creating a safe and positive environment where children can learn and grow. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operation of after-school and summer programs. Supervise, train, support, and evaluate program staff. Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable for performance and following policies. Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children. Oversee implementation of the Kids Soar literacy program and KidzLIT curriculum. Coordinate tutoring, enrichment activities, meals, field trips, Family Nights, and special events. Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate classroom coverage. Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and program records. Ensure compliance with Kids Soar policies and applicable childcare regulations. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, schools, volunteers, and community partners. Address staffing, behavioral, and operational concerns promptly and professionally. Work closely with the Executive Director to solve problems and strengthen program quality. Lead by example and promote a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience. Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or youth-serving setting. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to supervise staff, provide constructive feedback, and hold employees accountable. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on responsibilities. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to complete required childcare and child abuse prevention training. Successful completion of required background checks. Schedule Full-time.
