Director Key Responsibilities includes:
Operations and Compliance:
Lead daily operations, uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with state daycare and childcare licensing and Goddard quality assurance requirements.
Faculty Management:
Hire, train, supervise and support staff. Build a high-performing, talented and customer-focused team by investing in faculty development, coaching, and career growth.
Curriculum and Program Development:
Implement our proprietary Wonder of Learning®• program, designed to spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promotes student engagement and cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Family and Community Engagement:
Build strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent events, and community involvement. Promote the school in the community and maintain high enrollment.
Financial Management:
Manage budget, enrollment targets, and resources strategically to support financial health and school success.
Health and Safety:
Implement health and safety regulations and maintain a safe, clean and prepared environment for children, staff and families.
Leadership:
Lead with a growth mindset to continuously elevate program quality, proactively develop talent, and prepare the school for future success.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or the minimum education criteria required by DCYF. Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements. At least 4 years of experience teaching in early childhood education and 4 years in a leadership/management role in a licensed daycare or childcare center or preschool. Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices and team leadership. Effective organization, time management, multitasking and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
