The UCMAS Center Manager and Instructor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Bothell UCMAS center and teaching UCMAS classes.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage daily operations of the UCMAS center, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Teach UCMAS subjects, focusing on abacus and mental arithmetic techniques. Develop and implement curriculum materials, including lesson plans, practice exercises, and assessments. Monitor students' progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Recruit, train, and supervise center staff, ensuring high-quality instruction and customer service. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and financial transactions. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and center activities. Organize and oversee special events, such as competitions or exhibitions. Manage the center's budget, including expenses for supplies, equipment, and staffing. Ensure compliance with educational standards and safety regulations. Promote the UCMAS program within the local community to attract new students.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in education or childcare management Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with abacus techniques Excellent communication and leadership abilities Proficiency in relevant computer applications and administrative tasks Ideal Candidate will:

• get trained in using abacus and mental math program by UCMAS Franchise, practice and learn the program to get certified class instructor for 10 levels.
• teach mental math classes to kids 6-13 years of age
• call parents for information session
• give information session and parent orientation session to parents
• have team meeting once a week or as needed with other class instructors to check the progress of their students and offer any support they need
• handle scheduling and manage substitutes Duties Teach UCMAS class as per the lesson plan provided by the center.

Be patient with kids and encourage them to learn. Practice daily on abacus and get certification for every level one by one for 10 levels. have parents meeting to inform the progress of students. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices. Reach out to parents by phone call and emails to invite them for information session. Help with classroom and furniture up keeping. Maintain inventory This role combines the responsibilities of a center manager and a UCMAS instructor, allowing for efficient operation of the Bothell center while maintaining a focus on high-quality instruction.
