Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Competitive salary and benefits package available Position Overview Mother of Good Counsel Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and compassionate Extended Care Program (ECP) Director to lead our before and after-school Extended Care Program. The ECP Director is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where students in K4 through 8th grade can learn, grow, and build positive relationships outside of the regular school day. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys working with children, collaborating with staff, organizing programs, and ensuring that the Extended Care Program operates efficiently while meeting all Wisconsin state licensing and compliance requirements. Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or after-school setting. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements and state regulations. Proficiency with computers, record keeping, billing systems, and general office software. Primary Responsibilities Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the Extended Care Program. Develop engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, learning, teamwork, physical activity, and fun. Foster a welcoming, safe, and faith-filled environment for students in K4 through 8th grade. Build positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and school administration. Recruit, supervise, schedule, mentor, and support Extended Care staff while promoting teamwork and professionalism. Ensure appropriate student supervision and maintain high standards of safety and behavior management. Manage student attendance, billing, registration, and all program-related paperwork accurately and efficiently. Maintain organized records and documentation required for program operations. Ensure the program remains in full compliance with all applicable Wisconsin licensing regulations, safety standards, and reporting requirements. Communicate regularly with families regarding student needs, program updates, and important information. Coordinate supplies, equipment, snacks, and activity materials while maintaining an organized program budget. Collaborate with school administration to continuously improve the Extended Care Program and enhance the experience for students and families.
