LEAD TEACHER

Are you passionate about Early Childhood Education and looking for a place where your experience, ideas, and leadership are valued? Gold Creek Child Development Center is looking for a confident, caring, and dependable Lead Teacher to join our team in downtown Juneau. As a Lead Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your classroom, build strong relationships with children and families, and create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Lead your classroom and create a positive, engaging learning environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum Build meaningful relationships with children and families Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Guide and mentor assistant teachers and work together as a classroom team Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Communicate regularly with families about their child's development and day-to-day experiences Help maintain licensing requirements, classroom records, and center policies Be an active, positive member of the Gold Creek team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience working in Early Childhood Education Strong communication and teamwork skills Someone who is dependable, patient, organized, and genuinely enjoys working with children A teacher who can confidently lead a classroom while supporting and encouraging their team Someone who is willing to learn, grow, and contribute new ideas
