Childcare Worker 6:45am-3:15pm

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team from 6:45am to 3:15pm. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children with diverse needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while working in a supportive and collaborative setting. Duties Supervise and care for children in a daycare or preschool setting, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and social skills Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers Manage behavior using positive guidance strategies and behavior management techniques Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth Skills Experience with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones First aid certification is preferred; ability to respond calmly in emergency situations Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children Ability to work well with children with disabilities or special needs Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for caregiving and teaching young children This position is ideal for individuals committed to fostering a safe, educational, and loving environment for young learners.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
