This full-time position runs from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, providing compassionate care and engaging developmental activities for infants in our nurturing classroom environment. Duties Supervise and care for infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being throughout the day Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that supports learning and exploration Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment Document daily observations and developmental progress of each infant to inform ongoing care strategies Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that meet individual needs and promote inclusive learning experiences Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare center setting Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training encouraged Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Ability to work full-time hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm in a fast-paced childcare environment
