Job Description

Preschool Teacher Meadow Brook Baptist Preschool is seeking loving, dependable, and enthusiastic teachers to join our preschool ministry! We are looking for individuals who love Jesus, love children, and want to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families. Our teachers provide a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and feel loved. What You'll Do Create a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered classroom environment. Provide loving and attentive care while maintaining a safe environment. Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities, play, and experiences. Support children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development. Incorporate Bible stories, prayer, worship, and biblical principles into the classroom. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers. Communicate professionally and positively with families. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom. Follow all preschool safety, health, supervision, and child-protection policies. Work as part of a team and participate in required staff meetings and training. What We're Looking For A genuine love for Jesus Christ and a desire to serve Him through ministry to children and families. A genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing personality. Dependability, responsibility, and a positive attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience working with young children is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus or willingness to become certified. Requirements Must be able to pass all required DHR background checks and screenings . Must successfully complete a MinistrySafe interview and required screening/training . Must be willing to follow all preschool and church policies and child-safety procedures. Why Join Our Team? $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 25.0 per week
