In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, activity planning, and effective communication with parents and guardians. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Enforce behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and adherence to rules Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to child safety or well-being Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate assistance Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth program. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required but can receive on the job. Strong child supervision skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom experience preferred.
