Child Care Provider / Infant Room Teacher Gracie's Adventure Club - Licensed Child Care Center Gracie's Adventure Club is seeking experienced Infant Room Teachers / Child Care Providers to join our growing team. We are currently hiring for full-time positions only and are looking for dependable, nurturing professionals who take pride in providing high-quality care. Position Overview The Infant Room Teacher is responsible for providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for infants in a licensed child care setting. This role requires strong infant care experience, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a calm, structured environment. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of experience working in an infant room within a licensed child care facility Availability between 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (full-time schedule assigned) Ability to meet and maintain Alabama DHR requirements, including: Background checks and fingerprinting Required health screenings Ongoing professional development hours Strong knowledge of infant care routines (safe sleep, bottle feeding, diapering, sanitation) Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work as part of a team and follow center expectations Responsibilities Provide responsive, attentive care to infants ages 6 weeks - 18 months Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Follow structured daily schedules and routines Ensure compliance with all DHR health, safety, and supervision standards Communicate professionally with families and leadership Collaborate effectively with co-teachers and support staff Schedule ✔ Full-time position only ✔ Scheduled within 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ✔ Consistent scheduling with clear expectations Compensation, Incentives & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience 90-day performance review with opportunity for a performance-based raise Employee incentives and recognition opportunities , including: Perfect attendance recognition Performance-based bonuses Staff appreciation incentives Paid Time Off (PTO) available after 1 year of employment Supportive, structured leadership team Professional Development & Career Growth Paid training and ongoing professional development Support with meeting DHR training requirements CDA (Child Development Associate) sponsorship after 1 year of employment Hands-on assistance with CDA portfolio preparation Guidance through the certification process Access to
