Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child welfare and safety. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate. Maintain current certifications such as First Aid and CPR to ensure a safe environment at all times. Experience High school diploma and passing background check Will Train - Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is not needed Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within a childcare environment. Proven ability to follow mandated reporting laws diligently while maintaining confidentiality.
