JOB DESCRIPTION
Administrative Assistant - Elementary School 202 Days Perform various clerical and administrative support for an office or administrator Prepare correspondence, files, and documents using a word processor or other data management software Serve as point of contact for an office, providing information and guidance Maintain files, inventories, and other records both manually and automated Foster a positive relationship with parents, volunteers, and other school visitors Perform other related duties as assigned Regular and punctual attendance required Create letters, forms, and other associated documents Type a variety of routine and complex documents, reports, forms, and correspondence Assist with various administrative and student-related activities such as registration, calling absentees, preparing reports, contacting parents, checking students in/out, and any other related tasks Operate various types of office equipment such as copiers, faxes, scanners, etc. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information pertaining to individual students and/or the overall programQualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or sufficient education, training, and experience to successfully perform the duties of the position Extensive experience in clerical or similar administrative positions Demonstrated experience with automated information management systems, including word processing Strong oral and written communication skillsHOW TO APPLY
