Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Lead Daycare Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher is responsible for managing the classroom, implementing lesson plans, and creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment. This role involves strong communication with parents, collaboration with staff, and supporting the developmental needs of young children. Duties & Responsibilities Implement and follow weekly lesson plans that support age-appropriate learning and development Lead classroom activities and daily routines while maintaining a safe, structured environment Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Teacher's Aides Monitor children's behavior, development, and progress; maintain daily logs and reports Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, milestones, and concerns Collaborate with other teachers and administration to ensure consistency across classrooms Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Provide care and appropriate accommodations for children with special needs or disabilities Ensure compliance with daycare licensing regulations and safety standards Qualifications & Experience Experience working in a licensed daycare facility Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or in a classroom leadership role preferred Experience caring for children under 4 Familiarity with curriculum planning and classroom management First Aid and CPR Certification preferred Job Type Full-time Benefits Childcare Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Employee Discount Flexible Schedule Professional Development Assistance Work Location In person
