Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Afternoon Floater to join our early childhood education team! In this vital role, you will provide seamless support across classrooms, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. As an energetic team player, you will adapt quickly to different classroom settings, assist with daily activities, and uphold the highest standards of child supervision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of young learners while gaining diverse classroom experience in a vibrant daycare setting. Duties Support multiple classrooms by assisting teachers with daily routines, activities, and supervision of children Ensure the safety and well-being of children by maintaining vigilant supervision at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities focused on early childhood development Help with classroom setup, clean-up, and organization to promote a positive learning environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Support behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among children Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific needs Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management techniques Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom environments and support multiple groups of children Strong communication skills for effective parent interactions and team collaboration Commitment to maintaining a safe, nurturing environment aligned with mandated reporting laws and childcare regulations Must be 18 years or older Join us in creating a joyful, supportive space where young children can thrive! Pay:
From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
