Job Description

At STARS Academy, our classrooms are more than a workplace—it's a space where young children build the foundation for lifelong growth. As an Early Childhood Developmental Technician, you play a direct role in helping children develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively through structured, intentional care. In this role, you'll work alongside our Early Childhood Developmental Specialist (ECDS) and Lead ECDT to support each child's progress. You won't just assist—you'll actively engage with children, guide their development, and lead daily gross motor activities that build confidence, coordination, and independence. We're looking for someone who brings energy, empathy, and consistency to their work. The right person is patient under pressure, proactive in maintaining a clean and safe environment, and genuinely motivated to make a difference in the lives of children and families. What you'll do: Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children Plan and lead daily gross motor activities Maintain a safe, clean, and structured treatment environment Collaborate closely with the ECDS and Lead ECDT What sets you apart: Strong work ethic and reliability Natural warmth paired with professional boundaries Ability to stay positive and engaged throughout the day Commitment to creating a nurturing, growth-focused environment
