Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Early Childhood Teaching Assistant in our infant classroom to support the daily activities and supervision of children in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, demonstrates patience and creativity, and is committed to fostering positive development.
Responsibilities Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM, 7:45AM to 4:45 PM, or 9:00 AM to 5:30/6:00 PM Assist lead educators in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, and early childhood development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages exploration and independence. Engage with children through play-based learning, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with patience and understanding. Help facilitate communication between classroom families and other staff members in the classroom when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes optimal learning experiences. Participate in ongoing training related to early childhood education. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. (Required) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Prior experience working with children in classroom or childcare settings. (Preferred) Understanding of childhood development principles and Arkansas Minimal Licensing Requirements. (Preferred) Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, children, and families. (Required) A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth through engaging activities rooted in literacy education, math, and social-emotional learning. (Required) Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Ability to work well as part of a team. (Required)
Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
