A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.
Ability to pass FBI background check, child maltreatment check, and provide a copy of your high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Little Martians Learning Center is a high quality childcare center in the heart of Rogers. We are looking for passionate, caring teachers to love and provide quality care to our students who range in age from 6 weeks to 5 years! While activities vary from day to day, pre-k teachers focus primarily on teaching children to share, expressing themselves, communicating, collaborating well with others, following their curiosity, and furthering their language and vocabulary development.
Other day-to-day duties can include:
Teaching basic literacy and mathematic skills Planning lessons and carrying out curriculum Following a consistent daily routine Helping children develop positive self-images and experience success Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills Developing schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime Observing, assessing, and documenting each assigned child's health, skills, behavior, growth, and development Discussing growth, development, and communicating daily with parents Optimizing children's developmental, intellectual, and social achievements in class activities Who makes a good pre-k teacher?
