Job Title:

Daycare Assistant We are seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with children and be committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with supervising and caring for children throughout the day Support daily classroom routines, learning activities, and lesson plans Help serve meals and snacks Change diapers and assist children with toileting Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom Monitor children closely and follow all safety procedures Assist with nap time, outdoor play, transitions, and dismissal Communicate respectfully with children, families, and coworkers Complete required attendance, meal, diapering, and activity records Follow all daycare policies and state licensing requirements Report incidents, injuries, or concerns immediately Participate in required staff meetings and training Perform additional childcare-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Previous childcare experience preferred Must pass all required background checks Must be willing to complete required childcare training CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained within the required timeframe Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and able to work well with a team Must have reliable transportation Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Must be comfortable working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Must be able to sit on the floor, bend, stand, and move around for extended periods Must be able to safely participate in indoor and outdoor activities

$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
