In this dynamic role, you will provide flexible classroom support across multiple age groups, primarily focusing on infants and toddlers, ensuring each child receives attentive care, developmentally appropriate activities, and a safe space to explore and grow. Responsibilities Support lead teachers by assisting with daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid and pediatric CPR procedures Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster trust and transparency Assist in classroom management by supervising children closely and encouraging positive behavior through gentle guidance Adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups as needed to ensure continuous coverage and support during staff absences or busy periods Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in accordance with licensing requirements Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) to respond promptly to emergencies Strong communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a warm, caring demeanor Flexibility to work across different classrooms and adapt to changing daily needs Join us in creating joyful learning moments for our youngest students!
