Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Maintain a clean and organized environment that supports healthy childhood development standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of abuse or neglect according to legal requirements Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively Skills Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to different developmental stages Strong child supervision skills with an emphasis on safety and attention to detail Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child protection protocols Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable caregiving and behavior management skills Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to nurturing young minds!
