Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, including preschool and toddler care strategies Engage children with educational play, creative arts, storytelling, and social interaction exercises Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately Administer basic first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary to ensure children's health and safety Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support special education needs or children with disabilities Adhere to all health guidelines including child supervision protocols, diapering routines, and sanitation standards Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Familiarity with child supervision techniques, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and child safety protocols preferred Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members Experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children in a structured setting is advantageous Join us in creating joyful learning experiences that empower young minds!
