FACT provides services to approximately 1000 children in Calhoun, Columbia, Dallas, Hempstead, Lafayette, Nevada, Ouachita, and Union Counties, as well as in individual homes and employs over 200 individuals in the South and Southwest region of Arkansas. Strong Location:
Strong, Arkansas Plan, prepare, and implement the day to day activities for an Early Head Start classroom of children ages birth to three. Administer developmental screenings; develop individual plans for children; conduct daily health inspections; assure that the physical environment is safe and conducive to learning and development. Feed and change children as needed. Maintain daily documentation and assessment of child's development. Responsible for clean-up, parent meeting preparation, individualized parent training, and maintenance of files and records. Assist in recruitment activities. Conduct home visits. AA or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or High School Diploma and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with emphasis on Infant/Toddler competencies. Excellent oral and communications skills and computer proficiency required.
