Job Description
Our Early Learning Center has served Flagstaff families with a spirit of excellence since 1994. We need a part-time teacher's aide for our afternoon closing position. We are looking for team players who have a passion for working with young children and who want to help them grow through our Christ-centered learning program. Experience is preferred but we offer on-the-job training. Position is effective from August 4, 2026 Responsibilities Positively interact with children 18 months-5 years of age Help children improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Follow all health and safety requirements to ensure the safety of the children and staff Clean classrooms and bathrooms Greet parents Close up the school at the end of the day Skills Patient with young children Reliable, conscientious, honest, team-player Excellent communication skills Ability to interact positively with coworkers, children, and their parents Physical and emotional resilience Requirements High school diploma or GED Fingerprint clearance card (must be obtained before beginning work) First Aid and CPR certification Copy of immunization record 24 hours of Early Childhood Training per year (NAU education courses count toward these hours) Take Mt. Calvary's Bible information class (Approximately 10 hours of paid training)
