ENRICHMENT PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Gethsemane Christian Academy•Tempe, AZ Gethsemane Christian Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and faith-driven bilingual Lead Preschool Teacher and Spanish Enrichment Program Coordinator to nurture and educate young learners in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate will lead our 4-year-old classroom while developing and coordinating our new Spanish language enrichment program across all age groups (1s through Kindergarten). This position requires native or fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a 4-year-old classroom , implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities Develop, coordinate, and lead the Spanish enrichment program for students ages 1 through Kindergarten Create Spanish enrichment curriculum, lesson plans, and age-appropriate learning objectives Teach Spanish enrichment classes across multiple age groups Integrate Spanish language learning through songs, stories, games, and cultural activities Track student progress and communicate with parents about language development Plan and implement lessons aligned with the Arizona Early Learning Standards Create a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment Foster positive behavior and establish consistent classroom routines Maintain open, supportive communication with parents and colleagues (in English and Spanish as needed) Participate in school and church community events and activities

QUALIFICATIONS

Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required) Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (or actively pursuing one) preferred Previous experience working with preschool-aged children and/or teaching language to young children preferred Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Agreement with Gethsemane's Statement of Faith and Mission

Part-time, ~30 hours/week

Compensation :

$17•23 per hour, based on education, experience, and bilingual proficiency

Gethsemane Christian Academy is launching a Spanish language enrichment program for students ages 1 through Kindergarten. The Lead Teacher will develop and coordinate this program, integrating Spanish language instruction through interactive activities, songs, storytelling, and cultural celebrations, creating a joyful introduction to bilingual learning while maintaining our Christ-centered educational approach.
