Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and tailored to diverse learners.
  • Create a warm, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and discovery.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster open communication.
  • Observe and document progress; provide timely, constructive feedback to families.
  • Implement early intervention strategies to support children needing extra help.
  • Plan and facilitate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play.
  • Keep the classroom organized, safe, and welcoming, with accessible materials for all children. Qualifications
  • 12 Core ECE Units required.
  • Experience in a preschool or private school setting is preferred.
  • Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development for early childhood education.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and child welfare principles is a plus.
  • Background in tutoring or individualized student support is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of early intervention techniques for varied developmental needs is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
