Overview To provide a warm, nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment where children feel safe, engaged, and supported. Kawai Kids teachers uphold our philosophy of hands-on learning, positive guidance, and strong family partnerships. Teacher — Requirements & Responsibilities Kawai Kids Learning Center Requirements 12+ ECE units. 3+ Infant/Toddler units Minimum 6 months-1 year experience working with preschool-age children. Ability to follow Title 22 regulations and Kawai Kids policies. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift 25-30 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and actively supervise children. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Reliable, professional, and responsible work habits. Responsibilities Create a safe, warm, and organized classroom environment. Implement weekly curriculum, activities, lessons, and learning centers. Maintain active supervision and follow all safety/Title 22 guidelines. Support children's social-emotional development using positive guidance. Complete Brightwheel updates and communicate with parents professionally. Maintain attendance, incident reports, and other required documentation. Work collaboratively with co-teachers and support staff. Attend trainings, meetings, and school events as needed. Represent Kawai Kids with professionalism, reliability, and kindness.
