The teacher must have a great love and patience for children. They are responsible for classroom management, supervision, and act as a role model for the families. Qualifications for the
Position:
1. Individuals who are energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children. 2. Minimum of 1 years of experience working in an early childhood education setting. 3. Child Development coursework required, MUST have minimum 12 ECE Units and 3-6 Infant Units. 4. Experience in observing and documenting children's development. 5. Possesses strong and effective communication with staff, children, and parents. 6. Professional ethics of confidentiality, discretion, and good judgement.

CPR Certification(Required) Mandated Reporter Certificate (Required) Primary Responsibilities - Duties
  • Provide a safe and loving environment for the Toddlers in his/her care
  • Change diapers as needed
  • Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
  • Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Enforce all Licensing Regulations set forth in the Manuel of policies and procedures, including but not limited to, insuring that appropriate staff-child ratios are maintained all the times.
  • Report all injuries and other health related concerns to the Director.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements, including all
COVID-19
policies and procedures.
  • Other Duties as assigned. Physical Requirements
  • Safely lift a child or children with a total weight of 50 pounds.
  • Conduct activities involving substantial standing, walking, and moderate sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching on a frequent basis.
  • Work with hands above shoulder height with a weight of up to 20 pounds.
  • Work with arms extended at shoulder height with a weight of up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel on the floor without assistance.
  • Push, pull, playground equipment, art supplies, manipulate office equipment, etc.
