Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curricula, supporting early childhood development, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and growth. Experience with children, classroom management, and early education methodologies is highly valued. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with preschool curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to early childhood development Manage classroom activities and behavior to ensure a positive learning experience for all students Support children's social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral management through appropriate strategies Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address individual needs Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety procedures in accordance with childcare regulations Requirements Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while fostering a nurturing environment Childcare certification or early childhood education credentials preferred but not mandatory for all roles Passion for early childhood education and child welfare principles Flexibility to work part-time hours with a commitment to creating an enriching educational experience for preschoolers

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
