Monday-Friday 7:45am to 4:30pm (full-time) Come and join Rooted Preschool! We are located in Arroyo Grande, CA and are looking for an energetic, passionate and reliable teacher to join our family. Our curriculum is based in an outdoor classroom setting that allows children to grow through open-ended activities and experiences. We are a play based, child-led program, which encourages independence, allows children to grow socially and creates a safe, respectful environment. We strive to provide community based care, offer environmentally conscious modeling for our children, and we take pride in providing hands-on care for each individual child that walks through our doors! As we allow the seasons to guide our focus, you can find us getting messy and exploring all of our children's ideas they bring to the table! Rooted Preschool is looking for a like-minded individual who shares the same beliefs and values in the rearing of children. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating a fun playful place for our kiddos, setting up and taking down projects, facility cleaning, multitasking, problem-solving, open communication with parents, updating and changing the classroom and assisting with the monthly newsletter. Must be comfortable with dogs and be able to lift 40lbs. Compensation based on experience and education.QUALIFICATIONS
- TB clearance & proof of immunizations: Influenza, Pertussis, and Measles
- 12 ECE units minimum + 1 year of experience
- Background/Live Scan cleared (we cover cost)
- Current CPR/First AID certificate or proof of enrollment (we cover cost if needed)
