Job Description

EYFS Practitioner - Nursery Setting (Atherton) A well-established nursery in Atherton is looking to recruit a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Practitioner to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant early years setting that places a strong emphasis on play-based learning, child development, and creating a safe, stimulating environment for all children. The nursery has a strong reputation within the local community and offers a supportive working environment where staff are valued and encouraged to develop professionally.
Key duties:
Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities in line with the framework Monitor and record children's progress Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with parents The successful candidate will: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) Have experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting Demonstrate a sound understanding of the EYFS framework Be passionate about supporting early childhood development This role would suit someone who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and enjoys working in a child-centred environment.
