INTERIM SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Accounting leadership to oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare and review journal entries and adjustments. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing accurate and timely reporting to management and stakeholders. Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management. Supervise the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and credit management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure accurate financial information and support business initiatives. Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly desirable. Proven experience (7+ years) in accounting, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. Prior experience working within the apparel industry. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in SAP in addition to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and communicate financial information clearly and concisely.
