Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday.

Center hours:

6:30 AM-6:00 PM; assigned shift discussed during hiring.

We're looking for an experienced early childhood teacher to lead Littles, our classroom for 2- and 3-year-olds . Someone who brings warmth, steady judgment, playful ideas, and the ability to help other teachers grow alongside the kiddos. Bring your teaching brain. We've got lesson plans. Our Aldea Grow curriculum provides prepared lesson plans, practical activity guidance, and connected developmental goals across our programs. We give particular attention to language and early literacy, social-emotional learning, and the developing ability to remember, pause, solve problems, and try another way. You'll have a clear starting point, an understanding of what each experience supports, and room to respond to the children in front of you. Your observations and ideas help us keep improving the program. And yes, the same favorite book may make several appearances. The audience has opinions. What you'll lead A warm, engaging classroom. Prepare inviting spaces for pretend play, building, books, art, movement, and discovery. Learning you can notice. Use our plans, follow children's interests, and recognize the small steps that tell you what to offer next. A capable classroom team. Give clear direction, model thoughtful teaching, offer useful feedback, and follow through. Calm, respectful care. Support big feelings, growing independence, toileting, and everyday routines with patience and dignity. Safety throughout the day. Maintain active supervision, safe environments, and consistent licensing practices. Strong family relationships. Share specific observations, listen well, and help families feel connected to their child's day. You'll feel at home here if… You're experienced enough to guide a room and curious enough to keep learning. You stay interested in early childhood research, useful new approaches, and what other thoughtful educators are discovering. You ask good questions, try ideas intentionally, and pay attention to whether they help. You can get wonderfully absorbed in a child's discovery while still knowing what's happening across the room. You're comfortable coaching an adult, comforting a child, and occasionally accepting a very serious serving of wooden food. What you'll bring At least 4 years of early childhood teaching experience , including direct experience with ages 2 and 3. Experience leading a classroom and supporting fellow teachers. California Title 22 fully qualified preschool teacher status: qualifying ECE/Child Development coursework and experience, or an accepted credential or permit pathway. Current pediatric CPR and First Aid, or willingness to obtain before starting. Ability to meet applicable background and health-clearance requirements, including Live Scan, immunizations, and TB clearance.
