We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate the development of young children. Responsibilities:
  • Implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes learning and development in various areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
  • Create engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the needs and interests of preschool-aged children
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure individualized learning goals are met
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the holistic development of each child
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions among students
Qualifications:
  • 12 units in early childhood development
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in early intervention or toddler care is a plus
  • Familiarity with child welfare policies and procedures
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Background in childcare or daycare settings
