Preschool Teacher Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate the development of young children. If you have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes learning and development in various areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the needs and interests of preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure individualized learning goals are met
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the holistic development of each child
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions among students
Qualifications:
- 12 units in early childhood development
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in early intervention or toddler care is a plus
- Familiarity with child welfare policies and procedures
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Background in childcare or daycare settings
- Proficiency in math concepts relevant to early childhood education
