Job Description

Didici Daycare is seeking a passionate, full-time Infant-Toddler Preschool Teacher to guide the young children through play-based learning. At Didici, our team believes in fostering a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for our learners to engage in bilingual (Mandarin-English) activities in a Montessori-inspired classroom.
Position's Overview:
Working within our opening hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Prepare and implement a hands-on learning curriculum based on the children's developmental needs and engaging classroom experiences. Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and build respectful relationships to support our young learners. Observe and support children's developmental progress. Create projects and activities that teachers the children in language, art, dance, writing, nature, and building. Collaborate with other teachers and staff in creating a curriculum following Didici's philosophy. Communicate and provide feedback with parents & families during drop-off and pick-up, events, conferences, and special programs. Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
Compensations:
$22-$30+/hr, depending on experience and education. Paid sick days, federal holidays, winter & summer breaks.
Requirements:
Degree in Early Childhood Education is encouraged but not required. At least 12 ECE credits. Prior working experience at daycare or Infant/Toddler center is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to actively engage with children both indoors and outdoors. Immunizations and livescan clearance required (criminal history, fingerprinting through CA DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Central Index).
