    CC's Learning Center is looking for a passionate, energetic, and caring Full-Time Preschool Teacher to join our Butterfly Class !       ABOUT THE BUTTERFLY CLASS
      Our Butterfly Class operates with a 1:10 teacher-to-child ratio , allowing our teachers to provide meaningful interactions, intentional learning experiences, and individualized attention throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching preschool-aged children and comfortable caring for the whole child . This includes supporting children's social-emotional development, encouraging independence, helping children develop kindergarten-readiness skills, and creating engaging classroom experiences that inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. This position also requires the teacher to be comfortable and willing to assist children with toileting, potty training, and diapering as developmentally appropriate. Personal care is an important part of caring for young children, and our teachers approach these moments with patience, respect, dignity, and encouragement.
        QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
        Candidates must meet applicable California Community Care Licensing and Title 22 requirements for their position and be able to provide required documentation. We are seeking candidates who have: A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, or are actively working toward a qualifying degree/education pathway Education and/or coursework that meets applicable California Title 22 teacher qualification requirements Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification meeting applicable California child-care requirements Current MPT - Mandated Reporter Training Current IPM - Integrated Pest Management training , as required for applicable child-care personnel Current Livescan Clearance A current TB clearance/test or documentation meeting California licensing requirements Access to immunization records or documentation required for employment and licensing, including applicable records for MMR and Tdap/DTaP Ability to successfully complete all required employment screenings, including applicable background clearance requirements A genuine love for working with young children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow The ability to create a warm, safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Please note: California licensing requirements may vary based on the employee's role, education, coursework, permit status, and classroom assignment. All qualifications will be verified in accordance with applicable California regulations. •
        WHAT YOU'LL DO
        As a Butterfly Class Teacher, you will help create an exciting classroom where children feel safe, loved, respected, and inspired to learn.
        Your responsibilities will include:
        Providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Planning and implementing engaging activities that encourage children to Explore, Experiment, and Discover Creating lesson plans that support children's developmental needs and learning goals Supporting children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and creative development Incorporating age-appropriate early literacy, early mathematics, science, art, music, movement, and hands-on learning experiences Supporting children's kindergarten readiness and developing independence skills Guiding children through potty training and toileting routines with patience and encouragement Changing diapers and assisting with personal care as needed Maintaining appropriate classroom supervision and following applicable child-care licensing requirements Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom Using BW Daily Communication to document and communicate important information about each child's day Completing classroom documentation and daily communication accurately and consistently Preparing and maintaining lesson plans Communicating professionally and respectfully with parents and families Building positive relationships with families and keeping parents informed about their child's development and classroom experiences Participating in parent conversations and family communication as needed Working collaboratively with co-teachers, administration, and the entire CC's Learning Center team Attending staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities Following all school policies, procedures, health and safety practices, and applicable California licensing regulations Supporting a positive classroom culture where every child is encouraged to participate, explore, and learn Helping maintain a positive and professional atmosphere throughout the school
