You will be leading a class of young children, ages 2 and up through the school year, assessing their curriculum goals and designing instruction to meet their collective and individual needs. You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Create and follow a simple curriculum Guide children through their scheduled day Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Communicate with parents and other teachers Assess your student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones Qualifications Minimum of 12 ECE Units required, Child Development permit is a plus! Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Problem-solving and mediation skills
